Message from the President- Cecilia Tripp

I couldn't be more pleased and honoured to lead the Rotary Club of Ancaster AM for this upcoming year 2023-2024. This year's theme is "Hope in the World" which I find both fitting and Inspiring. With everything going on in the world right now, it's sometimes difficult to feel hopeful, but one of the many things that Rotary is known for is bringing hope to others through the many good works we do throughout the year.

For me, my goal is to create more hope around me while doing more locally and internationally, and of course, we will work to make our community the best it can be, whether with the annual Christmas programs, the beautiful Autumn Stroll, "Service Above Self", or our car raffle.

The Rotary Club has proudly raised and donated millions of dollars in our Ancaster community, the greater Hamilton area, and internationally and we've contributed to some amazing community projects like the Ancaster Memorial Arts Theatre, Village Splash Pad, Ancaster Rotary Community Centre, Margaret's Place Hospice at St Joseph's Villa, McMaster Children's Hospital and Juravinski Cancer Centre.

I truly believe we can all make a difference in the world, big or small, and with ongoing support, teamwork and hope in my life, I want to continue to help those who are most vulnerable in our community, and of course carry on the wonderful work of my predecessor.

While there will be challenges, I also know we're fully up to the task. I'm excited to tackle anything that awaits us because I know as a group, we're strong, will continue to effectively communicate and find opportunities to overcome and thrive. As your incoming President, I can't wait to lead the Rotary Club of Ancaster AM through a wonderful year filled with optimism, success and growth for our community and beyond. Please also check out the wonderful work Rotary is doing on our Facebook and Instagram sites. This year let's look forward with excitement, commitment, open hearts and of course, hope !
